Effective Wastewater Decolorant for Paper & Dyeing Industry  

This high-performance, cationic polymeric decolorant is engineered for rapid colour removal in alkaline, neutral or slightly acidic effluents discharged from paper mills and textile dye houses. The branched, high-charge-density backbone instantly neutralises anionic dye chromophores, forming dense, hydrophobic flocs that entrap lignin, optical brighteners, reactive and disperse dyes. Typical dosages of 50–200 g t⁻¹ achieve >95 % colour reduction, 70–80 % COD removal and 90 % TSS elimination, while producing 30 % less sludge than alum-based systems. Supplied as a ready-to-feed liquid (pH 3–5), it is compatible with PAC, PAM and biological post-treatment, enabling mills to meet stringent colour and COD discharge limits without capital investment.
