Polymeric Ferric Sulfate (PFS) is an inorganic polymeric coagulant with the chemical formula [Fe₂(OH)ₙ(SO₄)₃₋ₙ/₂]ₘ. It typically exists in liquid form (reddish-brown) or solid form (yellow/grayish-white powder) and is widely used in water and wastewater treatment.
By neutralizing the charge of suspended particles and forming dense flocs, PFS efficiently removes pollutants, serving as an eco-friendly and cost-effective alternative to traditional coagulants.
