Polymeric Ferric Sulfate (PfS) is an inorganic polymer coaqulant widely recognized for its effectiveness inwater and wastewater treatment. lts primary function is to remove a wide spectrum of pollutantsincluding organic matter, suspended solids, and particularly, heavy metals.
Compared to traditional coagulants like alum, PFS offers several advantages. it functions effectively overa wid er pH range, produces denser and faster-settling flocs, and leaves a lower residual concentration ofmetal in the treated water, Furthermore, it is less corrosive and has a lower impact on the pH of thewater system.
