What to compare in a trial

Use representative water samples to compare coagulation, floc formation, settling and treated-water quality under recorded conditions. Product choice and dosage depend on the raw water and treatment target. A product name or general PAC description does not establish superiority over aluminium sulfate or another coagulant.

Where COD, BOD, metals or other specific pollutants are treatment targets, assess the relevant measurements and pollutant forms. Do not assume that every contaminant will respond in the same way or that clarification alone achieves the required quality.

Operating conditions and handling

Determine the preparation method, dose and operating pH from product instructions and process trials. Check equipment compatibility, storage and handling precautions against the current safety data sheet; do not assume PAC Solution is non-corrosive or free of relevant impurities.
