Polyaluminum Ferric Chloride sewage treatment Water Purification flocculant PAFC
Polyaluminium ferric chloride (PAFC) is a kind of inorganic polymer coagulant, which is made by coagulation and hydrolysis of aluminum salt and iron salt. According to the principle of synergism, a new type of high efficiency coagulant is prepared by adding iron ion or ferric oxide and other iron compounds.
PAFC is commonly used in municipal and industrial water treatment processes, where it is effective at removing turbidity, color, and organic matter from water. It has both the characteristics of aluminum and iron coagulants, and has good water and wastewater purifying properties, and can be used in many different water and wastewater treatment processes. It is also effective at removing bacteria and other microorganisms from water, making it an important tool in the fight against waterborne diseases.

2. Adhesivity: PAM can make adhesive effect by mechanical, physical and chemical actions.
3. Friction reduction: PAM has good performance on reducing the frictions of liquids, put trace PAM in liquid can reduce the friction by 50-80%.
4. Thickening: PAM has thickening effect under both neutral condition and acid condition, it is hydrolyzed when PH value is more than 10. The thickening effect is more better in a semi reticulated structure.
