It is effectively used in both clean and industrial waste water treatment. The most important drawback of dual metal polymeric coagulants is stability of the product. Al/Fe ratio and r ratio has determined after so many R&D practices. PAFC has 2 years shelf life without any Me(OH) participation. While ferric ions makes polynuclear flocs after dosing besides alum ions tends to effective floc formation.
