Polyaluminium ferric chloride is a kind of inorganic polymer coagulant which is coagulated and hydrolyzed by aluminum salt and iron salt. According to the principle of synergy, it is a new type of high efficient coagulant prepared by the addition of polyaluminum ferric chloride single iron ions or iron trioxide and other iron containing compounds. It has the advantages of both aluminium salt and iron salt and there is a significant improvement in the form of aluminum and iron ions, the extent of polymerization is greatly improved. It takes the advantages of aluminium and iron coagulants on air flotation, improve the coagulation performance of polyaluminum chloride, the effect is especially good on the treatment of high turbidity water and low temperature and low turbidity water, do not need adding alkaline assistants or other coagulants.
