ACH is the abbreviation of Aluminum Chlorohydrate, CAS number 12042-91-0, Chinese name hydroxyaluminum chloride, basic aluminum chloride, or Polyaluminum Chloride, molecular formula Al2 (OH) 5Cl · 2H2O. It is an inorganic polymer compound with a higher alkalinity (salinity) than polyaluminum chloride, second only to aluminum hydroxide. It bridges and polymerizes through hydroxyl groups, with the highest number of hydroxyl groups in the molecule.
1. As an antiperspirant, deodorant, astringent, etc., applied in fields such as personal care products.

As a flocculant, it is mainly used for purifying drinking water and special water quality treatment of water supply, such as printing and dyeing wastewater, to remove iron, fluorine, cadmium, and radioactive pollution. It is commonly used in environments with pH values greater than 7.5.
