Product Description

The Industrial Center-Drive Sludge Scraper is a full-bridge, center-column unit engineered for 6–60 m diameter circular tanks in steel, mining, petro-chemical and paper mills. A planetary gearbox (0.01–0.03 rpm) mounted on a rigid bridge rotates a hollow main shaft; truss arms with adjustable HDPE blades scrape heavy, abrasive or oily sludge into a central cone while surface skimmers remove floatables.

Torque is transmitted through a replaceable lower bearing housed above the hopper, eliminating submerged seals and allowing inspection without draining. Load cells and a shear-pin safeguard protect against grit or chemical sludge overload; optional rake-lift device raises arms 400 mm under peak torque. Wetted parts are offered in 316L stainless, duplex 2205 or rubber-lined carbon steel to resist chlorides, acids and 80 °C temperatures.

Pre-assembled modules bolt to a cast-in-situ column; installation requires only power and sludge piping.
