White Drinking Grade Polyaluminum Chloride (PAC) is a high-purity coagulant extensively used in potable Water Treatment. As an inorganic polymer, it consists of aluminum hydroxide and chloride ions, forming a highly efficient polymeric structure ([Al₂(OH)ₙCl₆₋ₙ]ₘ).
Distinguished from conventional PAC (which may appear yellow due to iron impurities), the white variant undergoes rigorous purification to eliminate contaminants, ensuring compliance with stringent drinking water safety standards. It outperforms traditional coagulants like alum by offering enhanced coagulation efficiency, lower sludge production, and reduced aluminum residuals, making it ideal for applications requiring high water quality.
High Purity & Safety: Contains minimal heavy metals (e.g., iron, manganese) and meets certifications such as NSF/ANSI 60, ensuring suitability for human consumption.
Effective Coagulation: Works across a broad pH range (5–9) and performs well even in low-temperature conditions, forming dense, rapidly settling flocs.
Low Dosage Requirement: Achieves superior turbidity removal with 30–50% less dosage compared to traditional coagulants, reducing operational costs.
Stability & Handling: Non-corrosive, soluble in water, and stable during storage, with a long shelf life.
Environmental Benefits: Generates less sludge due to lower aluminum content, minimizing disposal challenges and environmental impact.
pH Neutrality: Minimizes pH fluctuations in treated water, reducing the need for post-treatment adjustments.
