Lanmeila Inclined Plate Sedimentation Tank – Compact, High-Rate Clarification for Any Flow  

 

The Lanmeila inclined plate sedimentation tank (also marketed as Lamella Clarifier) is a high-rate gravity separator that multiplies settling area without enlarging footprint. Based on the “shallow-layer” principle, it houses a stack of 60° inclined plates or hexagonal tubes inside a stainless-steel or epoxy-coated steel shell. Water is first coagulated and flocculated, then directed upward between the plates; suspended solids settle onto the inclined surfaces, slide by gravity into a conical sludge hopper, while clarified water overflows peripheral weirs at the top.
