Single-Bag Filter – Compact, Cost-Effective Polishing for Small Flows  

 

The single-bag filter houses one exchangeable fabric or mesh bag in a 304/316L stainless or epoxy-coated steel vessel, delivering 1–100 gpm (0.2–23 m³ h⁻¹) of clarified water within minutes of installation. Fluid enters the top, flows outward through the 0.5 m² bag surface, and exits solids-free; retained particles remain inside the bag, enabling lift-and-replace disposal without tools or spillage. Polypropylene felt bags cover 1–200 µm, nylon mesh 25–800 µm, and reusable PTFE up to 260 °C for aggressive metal-finishing effluent. A swing-bolt or band-clamp lid gives 5-second access; an in-line differential gauge signals when ΔP reaches 0.4 bar, ensuring maximum dirt-holding capacity. The unit fits on a 0.22 m² footprint, mounts horizontally or vertically, and connects via 1–3 in. flanges or tri-clamps. Ideal for pilot plants, sample streams, pump protection, RO pre-filtration and containerised sewage works, the single-bag filter offers 99 % uptime, 80 % lower capital than cartridges, and recyclable bags that support zero-landfill goals.
